WAKE FOREST, N.C. - April 26, 2018 - PRLog -- BTC Electronic Components - a franchised/authorized, stocking and value-added assembly distributor of connectors, backshells and interconnect accessories - is now offering the newly released VITA 67 Micro Miniature Coaxial Product Line from Delta Electronics Mfg. Corp. VITA 67 RF modules and contacts are designed for application in Open VPX systems and must withstand the robust mechanical and environmental performance requirements specified in the VITA 47-2005 standard.

There are two module sizes that provide application flexibility. Four-position modules (VITA 67.1) are intended for 3U VPX, in slots P2/J2. Suited for 6U systems, the eight-position modules (VITA 67.2) are to be used in slotsP5/J5 or P6/J6.Ideal for blind mating daughtercards to motherboards, the SMPM RF contacts provide +/- .010" radial misalignment tolerance and excellent return loss up to 40 GHz. Precision machined from either stainless steel or aluminum, the 4 and 8 position housings are available with pre-loaded SMPM adapters or a cost effective, direct snap-in, cable mount SMPM contact.To conform to the standard, the daughtercard modules are right angled and the motherboard modules are vertical. Both are typically cable terminated.
