"The new building is state-of-the-art with special features to serve our customers in a more efficient way," said Vice President, Joe Dorris.

Sarah Hord, who has been branch manager of the Springfield bank for more than eight years, said the bank opened its doors on Monday, Jan. 8.

"We enjoy being here on the corner," Hord said. "We're much more visible and our customers have easy access to the new building. We love it."

The new, nearly 3,900 square foot bank building has two drive-up lanes for service. There is also an ATM lane.

"We have a wide-open lobby," Hord said. "It has the more modern concept with teller pods for our personal bankers."

Over the past 41 years Volunteer State Bank has been proud to serve the banking needs of the people of Middle Tennessee.
