The only problem with this type of salt is that it's high in bromide, which is a naturally occurring element that dissolves in water and can be toxic. Thankfully, with the extensive technology we have today, the once inedible dead sea salt can now be ingested. While Dead Sea salt can be considered by someone one of the healthier options, it is still extracted from a potential polluted sea and also can be extremely expensive since it only comes from one place on Earth.
