TuffSkin's Lelia Friedlander Wins Women of Distinction Award

LAS VEGAS - June 21, 2018 - PRLog -- The National Association of Women Business Owners  Southern Nevada  chapter (NAWBO) named Lelia Friedlander of TuffSkin Surface Protection as an honoree for the Women of Distinction Awards in the real  estate/construction category.

Friedlander, along with her team, has grown TuffSkin to become an elite  vendor and service provider for stone protection. TuffSkin is now used by national and international hospitality brands and commercial properties as well as top stone warehouses and residences.

The co-founder and president of TuffSkin said working through diversity  partners has helped her grow her business. In addition to her  involvement in groups like NAWBO, Friedlander regularly makes purchases of services and products from women and minority-owned companies.

She is a graduate of The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Platinum Supplier Program and has participated on the diversity committee through the Nevada Contractors Association.

To Friedlander, leadership means recognizing the strengths in others and  celebrating them through encouragement and enlightenment. She has done this with her team members, including her adult children., who have positions with TuffSkin.

As a serial entrepreneur for 27 years, running several businesses at once, she is also very active in community service and  supports many area non profits. I always want to keep learning and progressing. I am dedicated to continuing the work I'm doing. "
