Market capitalization of seven top-10 most valued cos drops Rs 32,298 crore

INDORE, India - June 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Seven of the top 10 most valued Indian companies suffered a combined loss of Rs 32,297.97 crore in market capitalization (M-Cap) last week. Among them, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) tolls the steepest hit. Excluding HDFC Bank, ITC & HDFC, the rest seven companies witnessed losses in their m-cap for the week ended Friday.

Tata Consultancy Services' valuation crashed Rs 11,351.73 cr to Rs 6,93,661.25 cr. The market capitalization of Infosys Limited fell Rs 7,426.03 cr to Rs 2,72,240.52 cr and that of Kotak Mahindra Bank dropped Rs 3,850.21 cr to Rs 2,51,645.61 cr.

State bank of India's valuation fell by Rs 3,837.58 cr to Rs 2,43,864.35 cr and that of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) plunged by Rs 2,953.29 cr to Rs 3,47,975.71 cr.  Maruti Suzuki India Limited fell by Rs 1,897.06 cr to Rs 2,68,540.11 cr  in its M-cap, while  Reliance Industries Limited dropped 982.07 cr  to Rs 6,41,381 cr.

HDFC Bank's m-cap jumped by Rs 13,302.86 cr to Rs 5,41,954.92 cr and HDFC's valuation rose Rs 11,898.58 cr to Rs 3,19,654.55 cr, ITC went up by Rs 793.28 cr to Rs 3,23,596.88 cr.

In the ranking of top-10 valued companies, Tata Consultancy Services stood at top position, followed by Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, Hindustan Uni Lever, ITC Ltd, HDFC, Infosys Limited, Maruti Suzuki India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and State Bank of India.
