Quick and Easy Field Repair with New Product CKT-UMG, Unitized Mud Gauge Repair Kit

With the recent redesign of the gauge housing and case, this new repair kit makes servicing and repairing a Crown unitized mud gauges a snap, saving time and money.

Needing an all-in-one pressure management solution, original UMG industry designers flipped a 6" gauge case over and attached it to a gauge protector housing.  This product worked, but it had a tendency to leak when the seal between the case and housing wore. In 2017, Crown Oilfield Instrumentation engineers broke down the unitized mud gauge (UMG) to its essential components and re-envisioned the neck and case of this all-important oilfield gauge. With the 360 degree redesign, Crown revolutionized this all-important gauge, which is highly leak resistant all the while being durable, reliable, and accurate. With this redesign, the seals, diaphragm cup, and interior parts were redesigned as well.

Now, with so many of this revolution design in the field, it was a logical to add a repair kit to the product line up. With these gauges needing re-certifications yearly, and in some cases bi-annually, the CKT-UMG has everything needed to make sure that this UMG gauge can be overhauled and pressured up.
