Bavarian Inn Restaurant's 'Purely Michigan Dinner' August 24

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - July 27, 2018 - PRLog -- Sample the best creative cuisine that Michigan has to offer at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant's (http://www.bavarianinn.com/) "Purely Michigan Dinner" on Friday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m.

The Inn, supported by vendors like Grandpa Tiny's Farm, is teaming up with Founders Brewing Co. of Grand Rapids, Frankenmuth's Farmers Market, and St. Julian Winery of Paw Paw to present dishes and beverages which exemplify fine dining in the Great Lakes State. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Bob Gregory from Cherry Bay Orchards.

The starter course includes blueberry ricotta crostini with honey and prosciutto, as well as smoked whitefish sliders. These appetizers are accompanied by Michigan cherry cider, Bloody Mary shooters, Raspberry Rubaeus and barrel aged stout.

Next comes a maize and blue salad accompanied by a Michigan cherry mimosa.

Following a refreshing cherry sorbet, the entrée is herb roasted prime rib with cherry port sauce and gorgonzola accompanied by compressed potatoes and haricot vert beans, served with Cherry Republic Cellars Great Hall Noir.

The dessert course is cherry apple kuchen, served with Saugatuck Brewing's Lucky Stone Apple Cider.
