Texas Beer Refinery announces partnership with Bill Arning, as TBR's new Brewmaster

Houston, TX, July 31, 2018—Texas Beer Refinery (TBR), is a small-town brewery and tap room specializing in craft beers located off the beaten path in Dickinson, Texas.  TBR announces a strategic partnership with the distinguished Bill Arning, naming him as their new Brewmaster and welcoming him to the TBR team. Within his new role, Bill will use his knowledge, experience, and creativity to lead and expand TBR's brewing operations and the TBR tap room.

Newly appointed Brewmaster, Bill Arning expressed that "brewing has been a passion of mine since my ex-wife bought me my first homebrew kit back in 2012.  I've pretty much brewed every week since then."  Bill is planning to infuse that passion into TBR.  He said that his ultimate goal for TBR is to "create an atmosphere that feels like family."  He said "the most rewarding part of owning a brewery is when strangers can sit together, converse over a pint of beer (or two) and leave feeling like family."  In addition to building on a family feel, Bill expressed "I would also like to bring a few of my specialty crafted beers to the TBR lineup."

TBR founders, John Hearn and Ryan Rhodes, filed as a Texas Corporation in August of 2013. The brewery first opened its doors on a back road in the small town of Dickinson, TX in 2014. About Bill Arning
Bill Arning, a Friendswood local, is a well-known, award-winning brewer. He was previously brewing at Cranky Britches Brewing Co., where he was the co-owner, Brewmaster, and operational manager.  He is known for his American IPA's and big, dark beers like Stouts and Porters.  In addition to Cranky Britches, he has collaborated locally with Saloon Door Brewing, Beerfoot Beach Bar and Brews Brothers.  Before that, Bill owned a lawn care company that he started in 1986 and ran for 31 years, until selling it in 2017 to focus on brewing.
