By: Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley On Monday, August 27th, golf enthusiasts will help the acclaimed non-profit chapter raise money needed to fulfill its mission. The proceeds will help grant the 150 pending wishes of children battling critical illnesses in the Hudson Valley. More than 2,700 children in the region have had their wishes granted since the chapter received its charter in 1986. "The generosity of our many supporters—individuals, businesses and organizations— The outing will begin at 11 AM with registration and brunch, followed by tee-off at 1:00 PM that will officially start an afternoon of play on the challenging 27-hole course. At 6:00 PM, players will cap the fun-filled day with cocktails, dinner and an awards ceremony. Conklin noted: "To prevent missing out on a great day of golf on the iconic 105-year-old course overlooking the majestic Hudson River, participants should act now to guarantee their spot before the shotgun blast." Event sponsorships start at $5,000 and tee sponsorships are available for $400. The minimum fee for a single golfer is $800, and $3,200 for a foursome. Both include the reservations, all meals and beverages throughout the day, specialty gifts, and eligibility for golf awards.
