Working Person's Store Employee Raising Money for Buy In

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Aug. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Several employees have banded together to purchase a majority share of the Working Person's Store, located in northern Indiana.

A group of Working Person's Store employees are working together to raise money through Go Fund Me to buy a majority share of the Working Person's Store.  They are working to raise $1,000,000 by September 7th.

Working Person's Store has been in the Michiana area for over 20 years, providing consumers and businesses with the workwear and footwear they need to do their job safely and in comfort.  The company employs over 40 people with over 75% of their workforce made up of women.

Changes in retail have greatly affected Working Person's Store.  With more major brands moving from selling through retailers to selling directly to consumers and banks withdrawing support, it is making it increasingly harder for small companies to operate.

However, the employees at Working Person's Store believe in the company mission and have a passion for the products and services they offer and the customer's they serve.

Working Person's Store was founded in Lakeville Indiana in 1995 after our founder was unable to get outfitted from head to toe in the workwear and footwear needed for the job.  With the help of his son they were able to grow from a small business in Lakeville to a business that serves customers both nationally and internationally.
