By: The Sister Accord WHAT: The Sister Accord Foundation will hold 2 events to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of Sister Accord Day in Cincinnati, OH. On August 31, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm, Mayor John Cranley will join Founder Sonia Jackson Myles in recognizing 7 Successful Women Leaders from Cincinnati and across the country. Michelle Hopkins, PR, Marketing & Media Professional, will be the MC. One of the Honorees, Ruth E. Carter, Costume Designer for The Black Panther Movie, will be the keynote speaker. Another Honoree, International Gospel Music Artist, Jessica Reedy, will provide the entertainment. On September 1, 2018 from 9 am – 3 pm, high school aged young ladies and adult women leaders, from Cincinnati and across the country, will come together to celebrate Sisterhood and Leadership Development at a Tea Party. The Women Leaders will be presented with The Sister Accord Leadership Award during The Tea Party. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy live performances and inspirational messages from speakers and Honorees.
