Lucinda Belle Set To Release New Single "Where Have All The Good Men Gone"

SAN FRANCISCO - Aug. 31, 2018 - PRLog -- Northern California based songwriter Lucinda Belle is putting the final touches on her new album and is ready to make waves with the upcoming single "Where Have All The Good Men Gone?". The multi-talented UK born singer and jazz harpist has wielded her distinct talents since an early age to craft music and a brand that is timeless, relatable and equally fascinating. This new single stays true to her unique sound, and channels modern influences that her closest confidants would describe as an Amy Winehouse meets Elle King essence with an eclectic, humorous and witty twist.

Influenced by varied genres of the early and mid 1900's including jazz, blues, gypsy and soul, Belle first caught the ears of UK label Decca Records with her early recordings and renowned status of being an accomplished session harpist (Pet Shop Boys, James Blunt, Natalie Cole, Annie Lennox, Jamiroquai). The harp is her weapon of choice, and is used to inject fresh energy into her music that is inspired by these classic, timeless genres and gives what Belle describes as a "different perspective of what can be done with the instrument".

Lucinda Belle released her 2016 EP 'Urban Lullabies', which is a collection of interpretive covers that include a much buzzed take on Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit". Since her departure from Decca Records and Big Life Management (Wham, The XX, Scissors Sisters, La Roux), she has gone independent and cemented her retro, pop noir influenced brand which revolves around creative content including music videos, live performances, cover tracks and even keynotes with TEDx (https://www.ted.com/tedx/events/24852) and EG Conference.
