Frisco, Texas, September 10, 2018 – Apollo Support and Rescue and The Paw Depot declare September 15, 2018 The Underdog Days. Each year thousands of special need dogs are surrendered to local shelters or dumped on the streets with nowhere to go. With the help of rescues like Apollo Support and Rescue we are creating new futures for these fur babies. We encourage you to make a difference in these dogs life and make your house a home by adopting a special needs dog!

Nothing says "welcome home" like a wagging tail and a slobbery kiss. You can make a special needs dog part of your family – we promise to provide you with tips, tricks and all the support you need to make it a successful transition. Training information provided by Deaf Dogs Rock, ASL Dog Training, and Your Inner Dog Training (online) for deaf and blind dogs. Whether you are a lifelong dog owner or a first timer, our adoption counselors can help you select a suitable canine for your lifestyle preferences.

Apollo Support and Rescue has partnered with The Paw Depot in hosting this event. Stop by from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM to meet the special needs dogs, paint rocks to add to the pet memorial garden, enjoy the animal balloon artist, relax while listening to a blind pianist display his talents and hear from some of the top trainers in the metroplex.
