11th Annual Taste Of Greater Newburgh Set For Sunday September 30th

NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - Sept. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- The popular Taste of Greater Newburgh will take place on Sunday September 30th, from 12:30 to 2:30pm, under the tent at Mount Saint Mary College's Guzman Lawn this year.

There will be even more sumptuous samplings of local culinary talent this year. The organizer, Rotary Club of Greater Newburgh, promises more extraordinary restaurants and assortment of food and drink than ever before. Also, there will be a live jazz band to accompany the good food and lively meet & great with friends. Donation is $30 per person at the door, or $25 for advanced tickets through the website or a Rotarian.

The tastings are from such food purveyors as Leo's of Newburgh, The Wherehouse, Gus's Tavern, Billy Joe's Ribworks, Commodore Chocolatier, Captain Jake's, Cosimo's/The Pizza Shop, Mid-Valley Wine & Liquor, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Pamela's Travelling Feast, Leo's Pizza of Newburgh, Blend Smoothie & Salad Bar, Luca's Pizzeria, Cornwall Wines & Spirits, WB Mason, and more. Deborah Sager, the Newburgh Rotary Club president and Bob McCurdy, the event chair, stated that the Taste of Greater Newburgh is one of only two fundraisers by the Greater Newburgh Rotary, which supports such impactful local organizations as Family Promise, Meals on Wheels, Salvation Army, Independent Living, Habitat for Humanity, Town of Newburgh DARE, Rotary Inter-Act Club at NFA, the Archie Stewart Rotary Scholarship Fund, Hudson Valley Honor Flight and many others.

These non-profits are supported by Rotary via the ticket donations and sponsorships.
