Hit The Beach For California Surfing Day

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. - Sept. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- Today is the day where you might have a few co-workers calling in sick or students taking a leave of absence for the day. Why? Today is California Surfing Day!
In fact, they may have a state-recognized excuse for their absence: California Surfing Day is now, officially, a thing.

On August 20, 2018, surfing became the official sport of California, and every year on September 20 the state will celebrate the designation on California Surfing Day.

Thousand of California surfers from up and down the beautiful California coast line will be hitting their favorite beaches today in celebrating shredding, ripping and shooting the curl. Young, old and even the 4-legged kind will share their stoke. Visit California has partnered up with several social media influencers to officially celebrate this sandy, salty wax day.
