The King And Queen Of Prom Dogs!

TORRANCE, Calif. - Aug. 8, 2023 - PRLog -- Who will be crowned King & Queen of the prom?

A Brussels Griffon prom that is! That's right, there are now proms for dogs.

On Saturday night we saw over 50 'Griffs' dressed with style and glamor, from classy tuxedos for the boys and glitter filled dresses with feather trains for the girls.

Viktor Luna of Bravo's 'Project Runway' fame and CEO of So Cal Brussels Griffon styled a few happy pups.

Social Media superstar Surf Gidget The Pug the gala in support of this charity event. Gidget wore couture by 'The Stylish Bisou' a well known pet designer name amongst the large pug group.

Gidget and her Mom Alecia Nelson also donated a custom surfboard, a private dog surf lesson and a copy of Gidget's new children's book 'The Sea Adventures Of Surf Gidget The Pug' to help raise money for the evening's charity recipients. The new book is a great read for kids as it focuses on the current impact of conservation towards our beaches, sea life and oceans. The simple message is keep our oceans and beaches clean, a message for all.  The sales from Gidgets new book supports her non profit charity 'Surf Gidget The Pug Healing Hearts Foundation.' The foundation rescues unwanted neglected dogs, trains the animals to become loving companions for abused, disabled or recovered human traffic teens and adults.

It was a fun evening with various awards presented and even a fashion show where all items in the show were auctioned off for charity.

Brussels Griffon 'Peppermint' was crowned queen and 'Rugelach' was her king.
