Follow on Google News | CVMSDC Partner AmeriHealth Caritas to Host Luncheon for Minority Suppliers, Sept. 28 in Raleigh, NCBy: CVMSDC The Lunch 'n Learn program is the first of several planned outreach events for AmeriHealth Caritas as a new CVMSDC Corporate Partner. The company is seeking to identify minority suppliers to support its operation as a managed care organization in response to current and upcoming RFP opportunities. Current opportunities are in the following areas: Advertising, Communications, Consulting, Data Services & Supplies, Facilities Equipment & Services, Information Technology, Printing & Fulfillment, Promotional Items, Staffing, Wellness Programs, and Real Estate. North Carolina's upcoming Medicaid Transformation may offer many opportunities for minority business enterprises. Accordingly, AmeriHealth Caritas plans to host similar events throughout the state, as well as in South Carolina and Virginia, to identify potential MBE suppliers. The Lunch 'n Learn on Sept. 28 is free for certified MBEs; however, advance registration is required and space is limited.
