Author Michael Gryboski Releases His Book, Carla

WASHINGTON - Oct. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is proud to announce the release of Carla, by author Michael Gryboski.

Gryboski was born and raised in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in history. He has previously released seven novels with a small, California-based publisher. In addition to writing fiction, he also writes news articles for an online publication based in DC.

This release follows the character, Carla al-Hassan, who lives in two worlds. In one, she is known as a mild-mannered young woman who dropped out of college to work full time, in order to pay her grandfather's medical bills. In the other, she is a professional killer who does the will of a mysterious domestic terrorist organization called the Cicero Organization.

Early reviews of Carla describe the book as unique and highly descriptive. Elizabeth Gibson from These Magical Pages says, "Gryboski highly deserves the praise for creating this truly fascinating world and characters. I won't go fully into who is who and how the story develops. The rest is for you, the reader, to find out. I highly recommend picking this book up."

While writing this book, the author had a message he wanted to share. Gryboski says, "This book is meant to serve as a warning to America about the current direction of political discourse."
