West End Cast star in Abba immersive for Yas Movies in the Park – Mamma Mia

ABU DHABI, UAE - Oct. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- Mamma Mia is one of the worlds most successful and most loved Jukebox musicals. It's a feel-good blockbuster adaptation of the smash-hit stage musical and stars Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Stellan Skarsgard, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth. It includes all of the most loved Abba songs including 'Dancing Queen', 'Money Money Money', 'Thank you For the Music', 'Waterloo', 'I Have a Dream', 'Does Your Mother Know' and many more.

Donna, an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter's wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile, Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother's past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.

Stepping into the shoes of Meryyl Streep and playing the role of Donna will be Lizzii Hills whose West End credits include Chicago, The Wizard of Oz and The Rat Pack. Making up the Dynamos is Tanya, played by Lucy Miller (Fame, Chicago, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde) and Rosie, played by Nicola Bryan (Sister Act, Sweet Charity, Dreamcoats and Petticoats).

Playing the three Dads are Michael Howard Smith as Harry (Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Buddy), Nicholas Maude (The Sound of Music, The Bodyguard, Phantom of the Opera) and Tim Harwood (Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, A Chorus Line, This is Elvis, Oh! What a Night).

The performance also stars Blaise Colangelo as Sophie (Shrek, Mamma Mia) and Liam Doyle (Wicked, Ghost, Legally Blonde) supported by Helen Hill, Ellis Dackombe, Nicholas McLean and Katharine Pearson.

The entertainment is produced by Lucy Magee for West End Worldwide. Magee is one of the most known theatrical names in the Middle East having produced over fifty productions. It is Directed and choreographed by Grant Murphy with costume designs by Melissa Waudby of Simply Vintage.

The event takes place on the 19th October between 3pm and 10pm at Du Arena as part of the 'Yas - Movies in the Park' series. Entry is free though guests do need to register for their free ticket at http://www.yasmovies.ae
