This year's pajama party theme encourages attendees to enjoy the event in the comforts of their favorite pajamas! This is one event your taste buds won't soon forget! The Meals on Wheels program delivers nutritionally balanced meals to seniors who are home bound or unable to purchase or prepare meals of their own. This program provides meals for a senior citizen for one year for about the same cost as a one day stay in the hospital! Each year, Celebrity Chefs Brunch benefiting Holiday Meals on Wheels and Aging Services raises money to supplement home delivered meal delivery for weekends and holidays and other aging services provided by our Agency partners. Our Meals on Wheels program works hard to fight hunger and malnutrition in the senior population we serve. Tickets to the Celebrity Chefs Brunch are $125 per person ($100 is tax-deductible) The Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois is a nonprofit organization responsible for developing and coordinating a network of services for older persons and their caregivers throughout DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties. The agency informs and advises on the needs of older persons living in the area and acts as an advocate on their behalf. It serves individuals 60+ years and their caregivers, with special attention to vulnerable populations, those with disabilities, veterans, minorities, low-income and limited English proficiency. It has awarded over $285,000,000 in grants under the federal Older Americans Act to community based organizations in its 44-year history.
