Kemet Educational Services hosts Fall Kupcakes and Konvos Parent Workshop

ATLANTA - Oct. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Kemet Educational Services LLC STEMport program is hosting its Fall  "Kupcakes and Konvos" Parent workshop for the 2018-19 school year. Kupcakes and Konvos are quarterly workshops were parents will learn strategies and talk to other parents about various STEM Education topics while enjoying a delicious cupcake.  The workshop will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 am at Kupcakerie located at 2781 Main Street, East Point, GA 30344. At this workshop will discuss various topics such as supporting your child's STEM Academic Achievement, participating in out of school time STEM programs and creating STEM Educational Experience at home.

Kemet Education's STEMport program is for parents that want to take an active role in their child(ren) STEM's education. This program offers online courses, coaching and workshops that teach parents strategies such as supporting classroom learning, creating your own STEM educational experiences, selecting out of school time programs and more. "The fall is a great time for parents to evaluate their children's STEM academic achievement. You can evaluate your child's school work to determine their area of strengths and where they need further support.  " states Ms. Tokiwa T. Smith, CEO and Principal Consultant.  "It is also a great time for you to plan how you will engage your children in STEM academic development and/or hands on STEM activities during the holiday breaks". In addition to these workshop series, Kemet's STEMport program offers online courses, books, and  formal workshops to provide support to parents.
