STEM Educators host 1st Annual Back to STEM Parent Boot Camp

ATLANTA - July 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Kemet Educational Services and Kiddos Play & Learn are hosting their 1^st Annual Back to STEM Parent Education Boot Camp on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm. The workshop will take place at Thee Werk Place located at 1900 The Exchange Bldg. 300A Ste. 345 Atlanta, GA 30339.  At this workshop parents will have the opportunity to connect with other parents and learn strategies from experienced STEM educators for their children's STEM academic development and enrichment. Workshop topics include but aren't limited to; engaging your kids in hands-on STEM activities, staying abreast of curriculum, assessment preparation strategies, and schools out STEM programs.  "Parent involvement is extremely important in STEM education within and beyond the classroom environment. With parent encouragement and involvement, it provides students with the advantage of being well prepared to apply STEM knowledge and skills throughout their educational journey to the work environment," stated Ericka Evans, Founder of Kiddos Play and Learn.
