This Documentary Explores Ireland Through Irish Eyes

ATLANTA - Oct. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- Executive Producer Anthony Murphy is helping tell Ireland's true story in Director, Anthony Monaghan's new documentary.  Murphy is backing the documentary that sheds light on Ireland through Irish eyes.  Monaghan has become one of the few Irish Directors who has found success in Hollywood and the United States. Monaghan's goal is to bridge the gap between rich and poor and give a voice to the working man/woman who is struggling to survive in Ireland.  The Murphy-backed production is getting close to completion as Monaghan Production are in the final stages of editing.

My Ireland takes a hard look at emigration, mass evictions, and the rise of homelessness. The crew traveled across the nation and interviewed Irish people from all walks of life and social classes, from a homeless Dubliner to John McGuinness, TD. Director and producer, Anthony Monaghan is striving to make a film that is truly unbiased; his only agenda is to give the Irish people a voice amidst the social injustices that are perpetrated by corruption. Production will resume this fall in the United States. With the help of co-producer, Anthony Murphy, Monaghan now wants to tell the other side of the emigration story from the other side of the pond. After overseeing post-production, they intend to finish the film by the new year.  "There is a lot happening in Ireland from homelessness to poverty and lots of political agendas that play into all of that.  I had the opportunity to talk to a lot of people in Ireland who play a vital role in us finding solutions," said Monaghan. "This film will be an eye opener for a lot of people and I hope it helps bridge the gap between rich and poor."
