Grab The Golden Experience: The Nurses Pub Joins National University To Host Golden Seminar

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- Everyone loves a unique experience, especially nurses that work tirelessly to ensure that others are receiving good care and nursing students who face the rigors of nursing school exams.

With the support of National University LAX, The Nurses Pub Organization will kick off a golden learning experience for seasoned nurses seeking to elevate their careers to the next level, nursing students hoping to absorb new knowledge, and motivated high school students seeking to branch into nursing and pre-medical careers.

The event will be held on November 13, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the picturesque campus of National University Lax, located at 5245 Pacific Concourse Drive, Los Angeles, California 90045.

The evening will feature presentations from dynamic guest speakers and professionals from the nursing field about breaking into the field and how to thrive as a nursing student. Another portion of the seminar will motivate seasoned professionals to take their own advanced education to the next level.

The most important aspect of the seminar, entitled "How to De-Stress in Times of Stress: Infusing Positive Energy Into Patient Care," will prepare nurses to diffuse stress-related challenges in the workplace and help nursing students face academic challenges and decrease stress during tests.

Lori Robertson, MSN, FNP-C, a dynamic national speaker, educator, and award-winning Nurse Aesthetic, will discuss topics such as "How life stressors can affect both your body and those around you." Known as the "injection expert," Lori is the owner of Skin Perfect Medical in Brea, California; a former actress; and a medical technical advisor for General Hospital.

Our intriguing guest speaker, Mr. Donovan Roy, currently serves as the Director of Academic Support Services for the USC Keck School of Medicine, where he helps facilitate a 100% passing rate in Steps 1 and 2 among pre-med students taking the National Board Exam. He is a seasoned higher education professional, dynamic motivational speaker, and accomplished player and former football coach, with expertise in student development, leadership, and success.

The Nurses Pub organization is a non-profit entity striving to build the nursing community by providing resources such as workshops, seminars, motivational reading materials, mentoring, and human resource development.
