United States Navy Selects Nokomis to Enhance Airborne ASW System Interferer Minimizer

PITTSBURGH - Nov. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- To sustain the Navy's operational advantage in the area of Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Nokomis has been selected for a highly competitive Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I contract from the United States Navy to enhance sonobuoy defense systems that reduce the threat from adversary submarines.

Nokomis will integrate its Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and a patented highly sensitive detection suite to enhance the Navy's sonobuoy defense systems.  This effort will help Navy adapt to the 21^st century environment that is increasingly challenging due to the littoral environment in which the Navy operates and advanced technologies that are proliferating around the world.
