SOR Adds a Submersible Level Transmitter Model to the 800 Series Pressure Transmitters

LENEXA, Kan. - Nov. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- The new 815LT Submersible Smart Level Transmitters are ideal for measuring the level in a vented tank, sump, reservoir, or slurry by measuring the hydrostatic head pressure. The vented cable design provides reference to atmospheric pressure so that accurate level readings can be achieved. All transmitters are IP68 rated and submersible to depths up to 1200 feet (365 meters).  While the PVC self-flushing nose cone is suitable for most applications, there is also a 2.5" SS diaphragm seal option with a protective cage designed for sludge and slurry applications. The large flush face diaphragm prevents clogging and is also provided with a protective cage from solids and debris.

The 815LT housings are constructed out of 316 stainless steel, so they are extremely durable and corrosion resistant. The compact stick style housing allows the unit to be entered through a 1½" process connection. Additionally, the 815LT is a smart transmitter that is equipped with a multitude of standard features including: HART, Modbus, external magnetic zero and span adjustments, 1-5VDC low power output, and a solid state switch that can be configured in nine different ways. A remote mount LCD display option is also available for applications that require remote indication.
