E-care Meritoriously Completes SSAE 18 Audit

What is SSAE?

SSAE (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements) determine how medical billing companies should carry out their business operations and report on compliance controls. Such reports are called SOC (Service Organization Control) reports, which are classified into SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3. This report will clearly outline the program's efficiency and how the risks are managed. It is also imperative that the third-party vendor should maintain the same standards as that of the company using its services. Further, service organizations should provide a document with a written statement of assurance.
