JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Dec. 2, 2018 - PRLog -- LCN Enterprise, a well-known brand in student career development has launched a new program offering targeted research and development to design student-centered career management services expected to increase job placement and retention.

The Center for College to Career Success (CCCS) provides research, professional development, and marketing services to provide college students and college-bound teens opportunities to gain personal and professional training tailored to their career choices with the help of a sponsor or career champion.

"For too long, the discussion around career and professional development needs of students has centered around the concept of mentors, these individuals provide valuable support, advice and guidance once a student is hired, but they do little to get a foot in the door," says Lequita Brooks, President and CEO of CCCS. "Students need more sponsors and champions to help them navigate the career landscape. CCCS is about creating sponsor relationships that open doors and becoming that champion for students who need someone to create unique opportunities to fit their specific career goals."

CCCS is currently conducting a survey of college students to help shape its initial offerings. One service currently underway is the creation of an under 30 peer board that pairs newly employed students with those seeking jobs.

"The information is fresh, trendy, and necessary for a student to stay on top of what industries are doing at any moment," says Brooks.
