By: PARTI Program A new generation of youth leaders will have the opportunity to learn new skills while representing their school campuses and participating as volunteers and leaders. The event emphasizes a commitment of 'Doing For Others' and 'Taking A Stand!' The MLK Youth Leadership Training targets middle school and high school youth in Northern California. They will explore the Youth Changing the World Toolkit and prepare participants to accomplish a Service Project from ideas to action through the various stages of project development (investigation, preparation, planning, action, reflection, and celebration) Youth are invited to "Share Your Story" about making a difference in their community. Learn how to lead a Service Project! Learn how to document your Impact! Learn what you can gain from Leading! After the 1-hour training, lunch will be provided and participants are invited to network with civic leaders and business professionals during the MLK Stop The Violence Event VIP Reception.
