Latin Party In Kissimmee To Celebrate Icon Restaurant

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Dec. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- Local restaurant "Tu Cocina Latina" has become an icon of Latin food in the south of Orlando within just one year. Known for their food "made from scratch" and their fried fish, this location has grown to become a must in Kissimmee.

After 1 year of success, they have decided to shower their fans and anyone who wants to attend with a party on December 22^nd that will be running all day and will include a DJ, the presence of bloggers, El Chamo 4x4, TV Show "De Todo Un Poco"and where they will be giving menus away for $2.99 with soda!

"Our community has embraced us and our food from the beginning and in a month as special as this one, we want to give something to them." Says Chef Carmen Santana.

Carmen and her associates Ray Lopez and Brenda Ceballos-Lopez wanted something that was true to the flavors they grew up with in Dominican Republic and Colombia. Tired of finding Latin food that had been "Americanized" and low-quality seafood in most places, they decided to open their own location in Kissimmee, called "Tu Cocina Latina"

"We wanted other immigrants like us to be able to taste what they ate back home and for those who don't know Hispanic food, to try our dishes and fall in love with it. We chose Kissimmee because our community is big here. We hear our prices are low for what we give but we want everyone to have access to a healthy home-style meal like the ones we grew up with".

December 22^nd, Tu Cocina Latina Will be celebrating their anniversary with the community at their location near the Walmartin Osceola, Kissimmee. They will have a DJ, TV personalities from "De Todo Un Poco", local influencers such as El Chamo 4x4 and much more.

Tu Cocina Latina is a Hispanic food restaurant located in 1371 E Osceola Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL. Their dishes are a variety of Dominica, Puerto Rican, Colombian and others. Their specialty is the fried fish and the shrimp mofongo which they serve in a very characteristic wooden cup. The business is open from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday.
