DIAMOND SPRINGS, Calif. - Jan. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- As an area leader in hospice and palliative care, Snowline Hospice is looking to expand their active Volunteer Service Department throughout El Dorado and Sacramento Counties. Snowline has multiple volunteer categories because they recognize that there are countless ways to serve. The organization welcomes a full array of gifts and interests. This past December, current volunteers were honored with personalized notes written by Snowline staff. Here's a glimpse of what they had to say:

To a Courier Volunteer:
"Our patients and families do not have to worry about going out to pick up their much-needed medications at such a critical time.  You are amazing with all our patients. We can't say enough about you!"

To a Friendly Visitor Volunteer:
"Because of you, patients experience a rare kind of generosity.  Not only are you thoughtful with the items you bring, such as hand-picked flowers from your garden, but you are so completely faithful with your gift of time and attention. You provide gentle encouragement to patients and families."

To an Office Support Volunteer:
"Snowline's bereaved family members receive healing through the Hope Series mailings you prepare each month.  You do this important work so faithfully and are incredibly thorough. Thank you for spreading hope and healing to the bereaved in our community.  It makes such a difference!"
