2019 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic - Coyotes Curling Club - Tempe Arizona

TEMPE, Ariz. - Jan. 13, 2019 - PRLog -- The Coyotes Curling Club, located at 2002 Medtronic Way, Tempe, AZ is proud to host the 2019 Ed Werenich Golden Wrench Classic, presented by The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe Arizona on January 24th – 27th, 2019.

The Golden Wrench Classic is a premiere World Curling Tour event featuring some of the top teams in the world.  We encourage everyone to head to the club to take in the action.  The first draw will be Thursday at 8am.

Included on this year's team rosters is that of Jared Allen, Michael Roos, Keith Bulluck and Marc Bulger, all former NFL players aiming to become Olympic Curlers.  "Allen currently lives in Nashville and called up a few local former NFL players to see if they'd be interested in creating a team. Ex-Rams quarterback Marc Bulger, ex-linebacker Keith Bulluck and ex-offensive lineman Michael Roos put together the "All-Pro Curling Team" in March and set their sights on the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. There was just one problem–no one had ever thrown a curling rock."
