No Teen Riders Founder to be inducted into the National Boxing Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES - Jan. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- Alan Santana, will be honored i as an inductee into the National Boxing Hall of Fame.  His show called Shining the Light will debut is scheduled to produce his first television show called "Shining the Light."  The show will be directed by Keith Barrow of 360 Studios came on board with the project after realizing the impact of a show that addresses many aspects of youth interests.   The show will address topics such as bullying, relationships, social media and issues surrounding gender identity and role models.

Alan recently joined the ABO (American Boxing Organization) as a board member and supervisor. He is most proud of his work as the spokesperson and ambassador for the Read60 program for elementary school children across the country.

Alan began his love for boxing at an early age.  At a young age, he won many state and local titles and recorded over 100 plus fights. His professional career as a boxer was met with a series of challenges after a major car accident. However, he continues to maintain a relationship today in boxing as well as being the voice for many ex-professional or retired fighters.  Alan has devoted numerous hours to bring to light the financial hardships and health-related issues former athletes are facing.  "There is a tremendous lack of oversight in the professional ranks when it comes to retirement plans and health insurance, said Alan."    He is currently in discussions with those who have a vested interest within the boxing community in hopes to bring positive changes to the sport.

Alan leads a purpose driven life passionately spending numerous hours working with youth and encouraging sports activities that break down cultural barriers and helps youth to improve self-esteem.

His book entitled "UNPROTECTED: a Tactical Approach to Boxing, Business and, Life debuted in Orange County, California, and will be introduced to the public this year.  In addition to his already filled calendar, he is serving as the spokesperson for BLACKOUT FIGHT GEAR, which will decrease sports injury, giving athletes a better quality of life upon retirement from their respective sports, whether it is boxing or mixed martial arts professions.  https://www.alansantana.com
