Coste's "Les Regrets-Cantilène" sheet music: a new edition for Flute or Alto Flute

Noteworthy Sheet Music has just released its latest publication, a new edition of Les Regrets-Cantilène by the French guitarist Napoléon Coste (1805-1883).  Coste was a widely-acclaimed virtuoso guitar soloist who also became famous as a composer, having written some 60 works, most of which were for guitar.  His music is in the romantic French style and is appreciated for its originality.  His Fantaisie, Op.36, Les Regrets-Cantilène, is a short, single-movement piece that was composed for oboe or violin with piano or harp or guitar.  Noteworthy Sheet Music created their new edition of the piece from the difficult-to-read manuscript version, which is in the public domain and available on imslp.org.  This new NSM edition includes a score in concert pitch for piano or harp or guitar, a part suitable for flute, as well as the original oboe or violin, and a second part transcribed for alto flute in G.
