Actor Keith Arthur Bolden lands recurring role in BET's series "American Soul"

ATLANTA - Jan. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- Actor, Director, and Producer Keith Arthur Bolden will have a recurring role in the new BET series "American Soul". The story of entrepreneur Don Cornelius, who developed the Soul Train show, which rose to prominence in the 1970's. The series will premiere Tuesday February 5th 9p EST on BET.

Keith will play Mr. Willard, the seemingly well-meaning landlord who is self-serving. He tries to help a family who is staying in an apartment who can't make rent. He's a no-nonsense character with a heart of gold… Or is he?

Keith Arthur Bolden hails originally from Los Angeles, California he obtained his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Illinois. He is a professional actor, director and professor of Theatre and Performance at Spelman College.

As a director, he will be directing Two Trains Running at Triad Stage in North Carolina in February, as well as co-directing Pipeline at Horizon Theatre in Atlanta. Other directing credits include Topdog/Underdog, Seven Guitars, Hands Up, Hoodoo Love and Saturday Night/Sunday Morning.
