The Levin Hotel (www.thelevinhotel.co.uk) in the heart of Knightsbridge has appointed Charlotte Shaw hotel manager with immediate effect.  Her excellent attention to detail, keen understanding of customer service and friendly management style are the talents that won her the chatelaine-style management role.

Charlotte, a rising star in the industry and high-flying graduate of the Edge Hotel School (BA Hons/University of Essex in Hotel Management), joined The Levin's sister-property - The Capital - as receptionist in 2016 direct from university.  In an impressively short time she rose through the ranks proving her natural ability and flair for hospitality.

Executive Manager of The Capital and The Levin Hotels, Lorena Somera, said: 'Charlotte is an exceptionally talented hotelier.  Though small with just 12 bedrooms, the Levin - a leading 4-red star hotel in London - receives a high level of repeat business.  Anticipating the guests' needs and greeting them with a genuinely warm welcome is integral to the role, and second nature to Charlotte.  It's clear she will rise to the challenge and go far.'  Charlotte said: 'as far back as I can remember my passion has been the hospitality industry.  I love making people happy and the Levin is a perfect hotel where every guest – I hope – leaves with happy memories of their stay.'

Charlotte's promotion has coincided with the completion of a stylish refurbishment to The Levin's lobby area.  Structural change has opened up the room to provide more space for light dining or relaxing over a coffee, and the fresh, bright décor creates a welcoming ambience.  In the mornings, a well-planned breakfast bar offers fresh fruit, cereals and porridge, freshly-baked bread and pastries from the London Bakery complemented by juices, tea and coffee.  Guests may choose wine, spirits or beer from the drinks tray in the evenings.
