United Premier Soccer League Announces L.A. Harbor College as Venue for National Championship

LOS ANGELES - Feb. 2, 2019 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce its upcoming Fall Season National Championship Final will be hosted by the UPSL Western Conference SoCal Division.

The UPSL Fall Season National Championship Final will kick off on Saturday night, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. PT at Wilmington (Calif.)'s Los Angeles Harbor College. Tickets are available at www.upslsoccer.com.

United Premier Soccer League Commissioner Yan Skwara said, "The UPSL is extremely proud of being able to host its 2018 Fall Season National Championship Final at Los Angeles Harbor College. By finishing with the best record of the teams remaining, California United FC II earned the opportunity to have its UPSL division host, and L.A. Harbor College was selected as the site. We held our Fall 2016 Fall Championship in Arizona, our 2017 Championship in Los Angeles, our 2018 Spring Championship in Colorado, and now we're back in Los Angeles. It's exciting for both California United FC II and Inocentes FC, and the league is appreciative of the effort the UPSL's SoCal Division continues to show as leaders in the Pro/Rel movement, specifically Western Conference Manager Gary Brunner for his leadership role."

Seahawk Stadium is on the campus of Los Angeles Harbor College (1111 Figueroa Pl., Wilmington, CA 90744), and is a 2,000-seat facility with full amenities.

The UPSL Fall Season Championship Final will be streamed at www.mycujoo.com.

The UPSL's 2018 Fall Season Finalists are Irvine (Calif.)'s California United FC II of the Western Conference SoCal Division and Ft. Worth (Tex.)'s Inocentes FC  of the Central Conference North Division. It will be the first match between the two clubs.

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.

UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
