A diverse and educational series of summer camps for children ages 7-16 will also be offered from May 27 through August 16, 2019.

"In addition to the super-fun comic book workshops and game nights, we've added several new STEM-based learning programs to our spring schedule which focus on coding and video games," said Dr. Katie Monnin, director of education for PCC.

"Science and technology can be very exciting, especially when the learning program is centered around video games or pop culture," added Monnin. "When kids follow their interests, learning comes easily. We want to inspire a love of learning in our kids and we do so by utilizing creative mediums that are likely quite different than those they experience in a traditional classroom setting."
