Barabino Productions debuts films at AMC Palace 20 Theater in the Greater New Orleans area

NEW ORLEANS - March 7, 2019 - PRLog -- "Don't Judge Our Love" is a short film that will touch upon taboo topics that are now becoming widely accepted as the norm. The film stars Geraldlyn Trinity, Assata Renay, Caren Green, Tawn Fox, Edwin Richardson, and Normeka Ageous. "George" is a short film about the torn relationship between a father and son. It stars Gerald Williams, Jr., Samantha Beaulieu and Robert D. DoQui. Barabino Productions is excited about these releases, as they offer a star-studded cast of seasoned actors and musicians turned actors, as well as newcomers offering a fresh take on their respective roles.

Writer and Director Tyra Barabino is a New Orleans native who touts a long resume of entertainment feats. Ms. Barabino is an actress, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, media personality, published poet, philanthropist, and talk show host. She has appeared in numerous productions, including the hit CBS series "NCIS: New Orleans", TNT's "Claws", and the new documentary by Director Benjamin Simmons, "Bally Animals". Ms. Barabino also has appeared in a host of other projects, including stage plays, television commercials and independent films such as "Sons of New Orleans". She is active in her community, particularly in endeavors focusing on uplifting and assisting youth to be the best they can be, while choosing positive life paths. As a successful female entrepreneur, it was only right she start her own production company. Barabino Productions has had a successful run thus far, and it is only gaining ground with the release of these new films.

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Ms. Barabino hails from the 7th Ward's St. Bernard Housing Project. She is a classic example of real New Orleans, demonstrating authenticity and high culture in every project she produces. She is also a beautiful, vivacious mother who includes her supportive family in all of her endeavors. She is working on more projects, set to release in the next couple of years. .
