Fabulous turn-of-the-century sterling silver tea and coffee set in Chrysanthemum. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. This set comprises tea kettle on stand, coffeepot, teapot, creamer, sugar, waste bowl, and tray.

The celebrated pattern, a New York interpretation of a Japanese motif, was first produced in 1880. To Baroque forms are applied a profusion of climbing, wrapping, and bunching flowers. Tray well has finely engraved loose and fluid floral scrollwork. All pieces have interlaced script monogram.

All hallmarks include director's letter C (1902-7) and pattern no. 5960 except tea kettle on stand, which has pattern no. 6176 and tray, which has pattern no. 9987. Excellent condition.

Dimensions: Tea kettle on stand (with handle): H 14 x W 8 1/2 x D 10 in. Coffeepot: H 10 x W 5 1/2 x D 9 1/4 in. Teapot: H 6 1/2 x W 6 x D 11 in. Creamer: H 5 x 4 3/4 x D 6 1/4 in.
