Exciting Midcentury Modern sterling silver punchbowl and 12 cups. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Punchbowl: Curved sides on inset support mounted to large and flat foot. Incised bands at rim and support. Each cup: Curved bowl on spread and canted foot. Incised bands at rim. Spare and functional with an industrial twang. Fully marked including director's letter L (1956-ca 1965) and postwar pattern nos. 23540 (punchbowl) and 23541 (cups). Fine condition.
