Karly Moreno Exits NBC's "The Voice" After Fierce Competition

SANTA ANA, Calif. - April 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Mission Viejo's Karly Moreno completed her run on NBC's "The Voice" this week, when voters opted to keep Shawn Sounds around for the next round. Blake Shelton was disappointed, of course, lamenting that she won't be around to teach him to skateboard. Unfortunately there were no saves or steals available for Blake to keep Karly in the competition.

One of the very first Hybrid Studios clients, Karly performed at the OC multimedia facility's grand opening in 2013 and her amazing talent has always been clear to anyone who's heard her sing. Growing up in Southern California, Karly naturally turned to surfing and skateboarding to keep up with her two older brothers. In 2012, she was selected to skate in a commercial featuring professional snowboarder Shaun White. While she's an accomplished skater, Karly also has a love for music that she gets from her mother, who was a singer in a rock band and taught Karly everything she knows about performing. Karly, who is a singer and a songwriter, currently plays up to three shows a week around Orange County and Los Angeles, and has performed at the Greek Theatre and House of Blues.

Multi-talented musician, actor, singer and songwriter, John Legend made his debut as a coach on "The Voice" this season, alongside three-time Grammy Award winner Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. The show's innovative format features four stages of competition: the first begins with the Blind Auditions, then the Battle Rounds, Live Cross Battles and the Live Performance Shows. Additionally, "The Comeback Stage" allows for six artists who were previously eliminated to compete in the Live Shows with help from Grammy-nominated artist Bebe Rexha.
