Follow on Google News | Greater Shreveport Chamber to Help Present Northern ExposureI-20 Chambers Convene the State's Largest, Annual, Citizen-Lobbying Caravan
<a href="https:// This high-visibility event amplifies the collective voice of the region and allows the NWLA legislative delegation to hear directly from constituents and business leaders. It also allows interested citizens the chance to hear firsthand from the Governor, members of the Administration and NWLA Legislators about how their priorities impact North Louisiana. The size of the caravan demonstrates that the business community of North Louisiana is organized and engaged in the issues that affect our communities. The event includes speeches from the governor and cabinet secretaries, remarks from legislators and culminates with a reception featuring signature dishes from local restaurants and chefs. This year will also feature networking opportunities for the Leadership classes from Shreveport, Ruston/Lincoln and Monroe, further cementing the collaboration across the I-20 corridor. For more details about the event or if you are interested in transportation offered through the Greater Shreveport Chamber, please call Carole Bennett at (318) 677-2500 or email her at carole@shreveportchamber.org. Since its founding in 1910, the mission of the Greater Shreveport Chamber has been to promote economic prosperity, serve as a business advocate, and celebrate the achievements of the Shreveport- Bossier region. With over 1400 members, the GSCC is designated as a 5-Star Accredited Chamber by the US Chamber of Commerce, one of less than 2% of Chambers across the country honored with this distinction.
