Dr. Reddy received his medical degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he completed his residency in internal medicine. He completed fellowships in clinical endocrinology and metabolism, and cellular and molecular physiology at the University of Toronto, then went on to earn his MBA from Cleveland State University. Dr. Reddy's previous roles include Chief of Adult Diabetes at Joslin Diabetes Center (affiliated with Harvard Medical School), Chairman of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Cleveland Clinic and a VP for Medical Affairs at Merck. While at Merck, he maintained an active endocrinology clinical practice at the Cleveland Clinic. At Central Michigan University, Dr. Reddy serves as Discipline Chair for Medical Sciences and Professor of Internal Medicine, Endocrinology. He has conducted research in clinical endocrinology, including obesity and thyroid disorders, and the epidemiology of diabetes, authoring and co-authoring more than 150 articles, abstracts, and book chapters on these areas of study.
