The Schmooze Networking Event - Ohio's Premier Networking Event for the Entertainment Industry

CLEVELAND - May 5, 2019 - PRLog -- The Schmooze is back!  Movers and shakers of Ohio's entertainment industry will be schmoozing on May 16, 2019  at The Bop Stop at The Music Settlement.  This free networking event is presented bi-annually by  HobbsStyle Casting & Production.

The Schmooze is about building individual brands, forming powerful relationships and moving Cleveland's entertainment industry forward. There will be announcements of upcoming casting calls, industry news and movie trailers shown from local filmmakers.

"Who you know is just as important as what you know," says Tina Hobbs, owner of HobbsStyle Casting.  "It's important that we share resources and support the growth of our film market." This year, the event will feature 12 trailers from filmmakers utilizing primarily local resources including actors, locations and crew.

ABOUT TINA HOBBS

Tina Hobbs is owner of HobbsStyle Casting & Production which houses all of her production services. She received her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Cleveland State University and received her first taste of the entertainment industry as an actress in various film and theater projects. She quickly became interested in working behind-the-scenes which prompted her to become a casting director and producer.

Since 2011, her company has cast and produced numerous projects including feature films, short films, television shows, music videos and theater productions.  Specializing in independent film, Tina hosts the bi-annual "Schmooze" which is a widely attended networking event designed to connect industry professionals.

Tina has over 21 years of analytical and strategic planning experience and is a member of African American Women in Cinema (AAWIC) and Women In Film and Television Ohio (WIFTO).  She also teaches Media and Arts classes at Cuyahoga Community College for aspiring filmmakers.
