Dr. Howard Lando Appointed AACE President-Elect

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 6, 2019 - PRLog -- Howard Lando, MD, FACP, FACE, was named President-Elect of the American Association of Endocrinologists (AACE) at AACE 2019, its 28th Annual Scientific & Clinical Congress in Los Angeles this month. As President-Elect, Dr. Lando will participate as an officer of AACE's Board of Directors for the 2019-2020 term, taking the role of President in the 2020-2021 term. From 2018-2019, Dr. Lando served as AACE Vice President.

After earning his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Dr. Lando completed his residency in internal medicine at Cleveland Clinic and a fellowship in endocrinology at George Washington University. He has been a member of AACE since 1991.

Dr. Lando is a practicing endocrinologist with Medical Specialists of Northern Virginia and has served as President of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital medical staff. He also serves as Clinical Professor of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine at George Washington University.
