Alisa Van Sickle, RN, Appointed to the Board for the Home Care Association of Washington

VANCOUVER, Wash. - May 15, 2019 - PRLog -- Community Home Health & Hospice is proud to announce that Alisa Van Sickle, RN, has been appointed to the Board for the Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW). Board members are elected from HCAW member agencies across Washington. As a board member, Van Sickle will represent the healthcare industry from a statewide perspective, while bringing her boots-on-the-ground experience.  As a long-time nurse and manager, she will be able to make sure that education, legislative advocacy, and decisions made by the association are rooted in real-world practice.

Van Sickle has been with Community Home Health & Hospice for 15 years. She started as a relief nurse, moved to case manager, then clinical coordinator. She is currently the home health and home care manager for both Longview and Vancouver. Van Sickle has been instrumental in many changes throughout Community Home Health & Hospice over the years. In her current role, she oversees more than 100 staff members. She enjoys her role and is always looking for ways to expand to meet patient and community needs.
