Follow on Google News | The International Center Now Accepting Nominations For The 2019 Global Impression AwardThe International Center created the award, now in its second year, to acknowledge the growing number of young leaders advancing Indiana's global profile. This year's honoree will be announced at the International Citizen of the Year Award dinner on October 8 at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Michael Crowther, retiring CEO of the Indianapolis Zoo and founder of the world-acclaimed Indianapolis Prize for animal conservation, is this year's honoree. "Our community has been blessed with a staggering number of incredible young leaders, many of whom we, unfortunately, don't hear about on a daily basis," said Shash Goyal, director of database engineering at Salesforce Marketing Cloud and member of the Global Impression Award committee. "Recognizing the strides they're making in our state and around the globe is a small but wonderful way to say 'thank you' and to give them the encouragement they need to keep going."
