Samarah Conley Wins Best Lead Actress Award in a Short Film in Nice International Film Festival

LOS ANGELES - May 20, 2019 - PRLog -- Actress Samarah Conley received the Best Lead Actress in a Short Film in Nice International Film Festival this weekend for her work on "A" My Name Is.

This is Conley's first nomination for best actress and first award in her career. She was overwhelmed with excitement by the announcement: "Being nominated for the first time was already very exciting for me. But when my dad told me yesterday that I won the award, it was like a dream come true."

Samarah Conley is an 11 years old New York-based actress and singer. Starting in 2012, she trained as a singer, adding acting to her resume in 2015. She has been in multiple commercials, student and independent films. Her television credits include Last Vermont Christmas, Diabolical, My Sordid Affair, Adulthood, Homicide for the Holidays, Monsters Inside Me, and more. Most of her short films have been on the film festival circuit and have won multiple awards. She also often sings at recitals, open mic nights, with rock band camps and with other talented musicians.
