Creative Excellence Starts with Our Clients

Our goal is to provide a level of dedication, service, and execution for our clients that is unmatched by our peers and only equaled by the leading firms and ad agencies in the world. The unique relationship we foster with our clients means we deliver premium quality creative while maintaining the close knit attentive care of a small agency.

That level of detail means each project is as original as you are, and presents optimal learning experiences that only strengthen our position. Like the 80+ honors earned in the past, every winner in this years Communicator Awards exemplifies what we do best.

Bellwether EBC Design Consultant | Brochure

Bellwether Design is well known for designing award-winning executive briefing centers. In this project, their need was to have a brochure that would promote this specific service.

Utilizing their existing positive reputation, we developed a concept around Bellwether's core specialization by showcasing a selection of their notable work. Tactful and minimal copy aided the efficiency of the brochure design, developing confidence in the brand.

Anthem Business Solutions | Website Design & Development

Formerly known as Tulsa Cash Register, one of our long term clients has grown their businesses and drastically expanded their service offering. They felt the existing brand and website no longer represented them, we were asked to revamp their website and brand.

Over a period of weeks, we worked closely to understand how they viewed their new image, what they wanted to project to their customers, and how to most effectively serve and inform users visiting the site. After establishing a strategy and direction to reach the project goals we started to develop the site.

Building new brands is natural to Matcha Design, and with extensive collaboration with the Anthem team we were able to remove & replace legacy items and media while also hand-picking talking points from to reinvent the new user experience.

The result is a detailed, responsive, and modern looking site that offers a smooth experience for users. Each service offering is uniquely described, and every page was designed from the ground up to be informative and entertaining. Our goal was to make a regular business look attractive and approachable to their targeted audience. This painstaking process was a success, down to the personable 404 error page featuring Anthem's office dog.

LO.LA Flower Artistry | Logo Design

With a unique approach and philosophy to the floral business, LO.LA Flower Artistry was in need of a logo that properly described the brand's vision while also being effective — creating an impression of flow that was organic, artistic, fun, and practical. This particular balance is difficult as logos can lose comprehension when scaled down.

Leafy elements were incorporated within the typography of the primary elements, and the logo itself included a tagline and subtitle. Every aspect of the logo was carefully detailed to work together and reflect the values of the brand.

Chris Lo Photography | Logo Design

Independent photographers exist within an industry prone to substantial trends. While most professionals in the space are using their signatures as their logo, that personalization has become commonplace — meaning that route leaves little room for them to stand out.

We decided to do something different. Our bold approach is founded upon taking risks, and not being afraid to incorporate multiple dramatic techniques leaving the viewer with an energetic, playful, and emotive response to the logo. This involved breaking up the word "photography" on multiple lines, alternating font weights to reduce breaks while maintaining readability, and even including an image of a camera within the design; the geometric shape of the camera body also resembles Oklahoma, where the brand is based.

ChrisLoArt.com | Website Design & Development

Despite this being a single-page website, there is nothing simple about it. Pulling out all the stops, this project featured custom photography, carefully crafted copy, and just the right amount of animation within the design elements.

Subtle enhancements such as an original loop animation within the background of form fills, the organization of flow from the top to the bottom of the page, and optimization for desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers all work towards our detailed design strategy.

Our Philosophy

At Matcha Design we have a positive history with The Communicator Awards. While we are proud of our consistent recognition for the hard work we've put into our projects, that is not the most valuable sentiment to take home.

This particular program establishes us as peers with some of the largest brands and agencies that publish creative within the communications field. By being active practitioners we show each of our clients that they'll receive the same commitment to quality design and industry best practices as the rest of the award recipients.

What makes  Matcha Design (http://www.matchadesign.com/) unique is the one-on-one devotion to the projects we embark upon as partners with our customers. We hope the above presentation illustrates the care and fresh look we give every project. Our clients aren't numbers, they're relationships that we aim to keep and grow.
